Patricia Marie Jackson

January 20, 1952 — January 21, 2021

Patricia Marie Jackson. She went by "Pat" and she didn't allow any other abbreviation of her name… Pat was born on January 20th in Albuquerque New Mexico. She was what they would call a military brat, and moved to Columbus with her parents Pennie and Robert Williams & siblings when she was in middle school. Being the second oldest of 6 children she took on a strong second mothers role as a young adult. She pushed herself to graduate from Central High School and furthered her education at Franklin University. Patricia would marry and have 2 daughters Keyana Jackson-Rash & Mary Jackson-Bush. She was the epitome of a loving, caring and supportive mother. Showering her children with the importance of having strength, resilience and a solid foundation. She worked for Franklin County Board of DD for over 30 plus years before retiring a few years ago. Becoming a Grandmother opened a whole new chapter in her life. It opened a higher level to her love. She could not have been prouder. Pat never wanted to be called Grandma. She wanted something unique and something only her babies would call her. She chose the name "Yeyo" which means mother or mama in Swahili. Immediately she stepped into her position by giving them all her love, affection, time and gifts constantly. She always put her family first. She was a phenomenal cook and baker. Cakes and pies was her favorite to make. She enjoyed finding new recipes to try for her family. Her passion for food poured love into every bite you tasted. Pat leaves to cherish her memory, her two loving daughters, Keyana (Michael) Rash, and Mary (Michael) Bush, five siblings, Maureen Thompson, Valerie Williams (Keysha, Doria & Des), Frankie Williams, Robin Coleman and Kurtis Williams. Six special and loving grandchildren, Kimani Jackson, Kobe Rash, Machyla Bush, Malachi Rash, Maisha Rowe and Michael Rash Jr. Her sharp wit, sarcastic humor, loving embrace, and support will be missed. The love she had for her siblings, children, grandchildren, and nieces & nephews was unbreakable. The bonds she had developed with each of them was one of a kind. We lost this beautiful spirit of a woman the morning after her 69th birthday 1/20/1952-1/21/2021.
