Pattie A. Brittian was born on October 21, 1944 in Madison, North Carolina. She graduated from Columbus Public School. She married her love Lewis C. Brittian in 1964 and to their union two daughters, Thornetie and Watnetie were born. Pattie loved attending family functions including vacations. She enjoyed attending church with her family. One of her favorite things was singing in the choir at Consolidated Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio. While residing in Columbus, her family grew spiritually at Corinthian Baptist Church for the last 14 years. Pattie was employed at Summit’s Trace Healthcare Center for over 40 years. She worked diligently both in the Housekeeping, Laundry, and Nursing Departments. She was a very devoted employee and she loved everyone she came in contact with. She was preceded in death by husband, Lewis C. Brittian; mother, Pattie S. Malloy; father, Frances Dalton; brother, Earl Malloy; special son, Tyrone Morgan. Left to cherish and carry on her legacy are her daughters, Thonetie “Nita” Brittian, Watnetie “Wat” Brittian; sisters, Faye Galloway of North Carolina, and Elaine Young of New Jersey; daughter-in-law, Shirley Morgan; close friends, Berneice Fitzhugh, Lucy Johnson, Effie Harvey, Francis Prince and the Griffin Family; four special grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
