Paul L. Stewart, Jr., age 64, was born on July 27, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul L. Stewart, Sr. and Eulis Stewart. Paul had one sibling, Stephanie, who is married to Carl Hamilton. Paul was a graduate of East High School in Columbus Ohio. While in high school Paul was also an activist for the Civil Rights Movement. He was a positive influence and mentored many people. Paul was later accepted to Central State University where he met his wife of 42 years, Joan Stewart. Paul had 2 children, his eldest, Chanel Stewart and his son Paul L., III, who is married to Jessica Stewart. His grandchildren, Symmone, Kalynn and Hanna-Marie Joan knew him as Papa. He loved his ‘girls’ and would tell anyone who would listen. Paul proudly served in the Army as a 1st lieutenant, and later as a captain in the National Guard. He had an exceptionally successful career as a Vice President of Human Resources. Paul was employed with several companies throughout the country, namely Texas, Ohio, California, Colorado, Kansas and Nebraska. Like his mother, Paul was good at and enjoyed cooking. Following in his father’s footsteps, he was a life time member of the Caviliers Club. Paul liked to introduce himself as “Tall Paul “and if he were here would tell you he never met a stranger. He always had a funny story at the ready to share with his family and friends that would usually have you laughing for days.
