Pauletta Lorraine Cochran, 70, of Zanesville, OH, went to be with the Lord early morning on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Doctors Hospital, following a lengthy illness. The 7th of 9 children, Pauletta was born August 19, 1951 to the late Pernell and Magdalene Cochran. In addition to her parents, Pauletta is also preceded in death by her sister Priscilla Dungee, sister Sandra Smith and her brother Theodore Cochran. Pauletta is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Eric) Francisco; grandchildren, Kynidee and Jay Francisco; sisters, Marcella Reese, of Zanesville, Orvella (W.G.) Romine of Kansas; brothers, Parnell Cochran of Columbus, Alvin Cochran (Renee), and Anthony (Sue) Cochran all of Zanesville; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Pauletta was a loving mother and grandmother that always put her daughter and grandchildren first. She cherished her family and enjoyed every minute that she could spend with them. Pauletta got her college degree at Muskingum Area Technical College - Applied Science Degree. Pauletta worked for Battelle Research Laboratory as Quality Control Task Leader in the Pathology Department for a combined 37 years. Pauletta enjoyed her work even bringing it home to help Stephanie get A’s in science classes through the years. Pauletta was loved by her co-workers and friends. Pauletta has touched many other lives by helping in times of need. She was a great role model to many of us. Pauletta will be missed by family. She will always be in our hearts forever.
