Pauline Faison Sibley, age 87, was born in Youngstown, Ohio on June 24, 1931 to the late Robert, Sr. and Frances (Stubblefield) Faison. She attended Hubbard High School and graduated from the American School of Chicago, Illinois. Pauline served her church in whatever capacity needed and was a member of various civic and community organizations. She was a member of Alpha and Omega First Baptist Church of Youngstown, Ohio at an early age and was a faithful member until moving to Alliance, Ohio . where she joined the St. Luke AME Church family. She served on the Pastor’s Aid Society, the Missionary Society, the Kitchen Committee, and as a Stewardess. She was a lifetime member of the Alliance NAACP and was Associate Matron of Starlite Chapter #83 O.E.S. Pauline assisted her husband in the daily operation of Sibley Funeral Home until his death. She then worked at the Hoover Company for 31 years, retiring in 2006. On September 16, 2018, Pauline transitioned to Heaven. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband James A. Sibley, five brothers Robert, Jr., Howard, Sr., Charles, Sr., Fred, and Max Faison and sister Thomasina Harper. Pauline leaves to cherish her memory one brother, John Faison; special niece and caregiver, Nanette (Fred) Booker; nieces, Denise Faison, Valerie Graves, Gail (Rev. Ricky) Tigner, Eugenia Harper, Tonette Brown, Melanie Rudolph-Ross, Jessica Faison, and Keyona Faison; nephews, Howard Faison, Jr., Charles Faison, Jr., and James Kershaw; and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
