Percell Evans was born on June 30, 1952, in Laurinburg, North Carolina. He departed this earth on April 15, 2020. Percell was a generous, loving and devoted husband and father. He spent six years of his life in the United States Marine Corp. He was deployed to Vietnam and he was Sgt of Guard in Saigoin.Percell retired and was honorably discharged as a Sgt from the Marine Corp in 1976. Percell was creative, talented and a mentor to everyone he came in contact with. Preceded in death by his father, Dennis Evans; mother, Evelyn Worrix; and three sisters. Percell is survived by his wife, Carolyn Evans; sons, Quinton Percell (Shawna) Evans, Kenneth (Marianne) Baker, and Justine (Kerri) Pack; daughters, Vernacia Evans and Dianna Baker; special sister-in-law, Donna Baker; grandchildren, Sariya, Evan, Justin, Donika, Ashanti, Kyra, Kalli, Avery, Abigail and Mason Percell; sisters, Della (William) Miller and Dora Evans; brothers, Frank Evans and Jerry Evans; special nieces, Vicki Baker and Aretha Woods, who always brought smiles and joy to his face; and a host of nieces and nephews.
