Percy Garrett Ii

Percy James Garrett, II was born on January 4, 1927 to Percy and Mary Louise (Lamberus) Garrett in Powellton, West Virginia. He departed this life on Tuesday, May 7, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parent, father Percy James Garrett, Sr.; mother, Mary Louise (Lamberus) Garrett; brothers, Willie Garrett, Charles Lee Garrett, Herman Garrett, Richard Garrett, James P. Garrett and sister, Carrie M. James. He is survived by his wife of over fifty years, Katherine Garrett; sons, Bryant Percy (Crisset) Garrett, Percy J. Garrett, III; daughters, Linda (John) Battle, Teresa Garrett, Marilyn Howze;  brother, Johnny Garrett and sister, Juanita (Garrett) Davis; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren,  many  nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. He was a decorated member of the U.S. Navy and a World War II Veteran. Percy retired from DCSC after more than thirty years of service.
