Percy Taylor, a beloved father and friend, passed away peacefully at home on February 28, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on February 13, 1929, in Slab Fork, West Virginia, Percy lived a life marked by dedication, love, and unwavering commitment to his family and country.

Perc served honorably in the States Army, demonstrating a strong sense of duty and service that characterized his long and fulfilling life. He was known not only for his military service but also for the kindness and warmth he extended to all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Jerri Johnson and Betty J. Brydie, his son, Percy D. Taylor, and a host of other relatives and friends who cherished and admired him. The memory of Percy will continue to live on through the stories and experiences they shared.

Percy was predeceased by his devoted wife, Sarah Taylor, as well as his parents, Percy and Martha (Goff) Taylor. Their love and guidance were foundational in shaping the remarkable man he became.

A graveside service will be held in honor of Percy Taylor on March 21, 2025, beginning at 12:00 PM at Eastlawn Cemetery, located at 1340 Woodland Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, 43219. Friends and family are invited to gather to pay their respects and celebrate a life well-lived. Percy’s legacy of love, service, and dedication to family will never be forgotten.
