Ralph E. Garnes was born July 8, 1938 in Gallipolis, Ohio and passed away August 27, 2020 in Pataskala, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Wick Garnes, and mother Minnie Garnes. He is survived by his wife Donna; children, Bernadette Stone, Eugenia Garnes and Gene Garnes; stepchildren Christi Evans and DaLayne Stewart; sister Carol (Raymond) Moore; brothers, Dale (Aria) Garnes, Merrill (Patricia) Garnes and Lawrence (Dorothy) Garnes; four grandchildren, several stepgrandchildren and step-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your nearest Kidney Foundation. Our family sends out our sincere appreciation to our extended family and dear friends for all cards, phone calls, and prayers.

Beginning at 6 p.m., doors will open for a walk-through viewing with staggered admission of up to 25 people at a time. For the mutual wellness and respect of those present, all visitors must wear an appropriate face covering, apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer spray upon entry, and maintain proper distancing according to current public health guidelines. We encourage you to utilize Ralph's memorial celebration wall to post an expression of sympathy and support for the family. A receptacle will also be available for on-site collection of sympathy cards and condolence letters.
