Raymond A. Stewart was born in Kingston, Jamaica on July 19, 1951. He departed this life on March 12, 2021. Raymond was the only child born to Ezekiel Stewart and Lucille Wint. Raymond was educated in Kingston, Jamaica at Warren Hall High School and went on to attend The College of Arts & Science in Nassau, Bahamas. Raymond met his loving wife, Carol Brown, while attending college in the Bahamas and they were married in 1980, until her death in 1994. While in Jamaica, Raymond went to a tent meeting and became interested in the Seventh- Day Adventist message. He was baptized and became a member of the Andrews Memorial SDA church in Kingston, Jamaica, He loved to sing and play the guitar and later introduced his mother, Lucille Wint to the message. Raymond moved to Columbus, Ohio and worked for the Public Works department for the US Federal Government and Ohio Health Care. After moving to Columbus, he and his mother, joined the Columbus Central SDA Church. His mother reflects on her son with great fondness and remembers him as a very sweet and loving young man, who loved his mother and was always there to take care of her. Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Ezekiel Stewart and his wife, Carol Stewart. He leaves behind his 91-year-old mother Lucille Wint, to cherish his memory, his two half-sisters Joy and Tiffany Stewart, his favorite cousin Gertrude Robinson and a host of other relatives, family and friends, here in the United States, Jamaica and England.

Beginning at 9:00 am, doors will open for a walk-through viewing. For the mutual wellness and respect of those present, all visitors are asked to wear an appropriate face covering, apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer spray upon entry, and maintain proper distancing according to current public health guidelines. We encourage you to utilize Raymond's memorial celebration wall to view his video tribute, send flowers and post an expression of sympathy and support for the family. A receptacle will also be available for on-site collection of sympathy cards and condolence letters.
