Raymond Patterson Sr

Raymond L. Patterson, Sr., age 83, born January 5, 1930 in Union, West Virginia, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at his residence. He retired from the U.S. Air Force with 20 years of service and later from the Columbus City Schools where he worked as a mechanic in the Transportation Department. Predeceased by parents, James L. Patterson and Josephine Jefferson Patterson, brothers, Homer, Melvin, Sam, and Lewis Patterson, and sisters, Ozella Crabbe, Eve Haynes, and Mary Graham. Survived by loving wife, Laura M. Patterson; children, Gwendolyn Gilmore, Josephine Hutchingson, and Raymond L. Patterson, Jr., all of Florida; sister Beulah (Arthur) Smith of Henderson, NV; and a host of other relatives and friends.
