“If death should beckon me with outstretched hands, And whisper softly of an unknown land I shall not be afraid to go, For though the path I do not know……….” She drank the brimming cup of Life to the fullest at the end, Thanked God for her Trails and Challenges, its punishments and rewards, its gifts of beauty, wisdom and love. Reda Ann Hankins quietly and peacefully accepted God’s call on Saturday March 2, 2019. Mrs. Reda, as she was affectionately called was born October 13, 1951, the daughter of late Foster Turner and Priscilla Dean Turner. She joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Brue E. Hankins. The union was blessed with two children, daughter Sandra A. Rowell and son Bruce M. Hankins. Missing her in utmost grief are daughter Sandra Rowell (Londale), son Bruce Hankins(Christa), Grandchildren, Mitchell Rowell, Ashley Rowell, Londale Rowell II, Sante Cook, Dante Carroll, Kaiden Cole, Mariah Dunlap, Shakhia Dunlap, Shaniaha Dunlap and Ashanti Sullivan. A host of cousins, other relatives, and many friends. “I take Death’s hand without a fear For He who safely brought me here, will also take me back… And though in many things I lack, He will not let me go alone Into the valley that’s unknown So I reach out and take God’s hand And journey to the Promised Land.”
