Remotha Mosh Pugh, age 84, departed this life to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. She was a servant of God for many years and she was an active member of New Mount Sinai Church of God in Christ. She retired as a supervisor at RG Barry and worked part-time for American Red Cross and CMHA. Remotha loved to worship and sing God's praises, she was an advent piano player, and her labor of love was expressed through her many sewing creations that were stitched with love. She is preceded in death by mother, Rosa D. Mitchell; father, Robert B. Mitchell; four sisters, Robbie Bonnie Daye, Ruth McClain, Rebecca Ledford, and Rita Johnson; and two brothers, Rudolph and Randolph Mitchell. Survived by her two loving and devoted sons, Calvin L. Johnson and Bernard (Simone) Pugh, two sisters, her twin, Remitha Mish Turner, and Rachel Clark; five grandchildren, Kristi L. Burk, JaRon Pugh, Monique Pugh, Sivon Pugh, and Simone Pugh; four great grandchildren, Kah'lil Wade, Jaeden Russell, Reagen Russell, and Ja'Niya Bouie; special niece, Debbie Pearson; and a host of nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Homegoing Celebration 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church, 3161 E. 5th Avenue, where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the start of service. Pastor Robert James, New Mt. Sinai C.O.G.I.C, officiating. Entombment Green Lawn Cemetery.
