Rev. Dr. Melvin Richardson

September 4, 1943 — December 18, 2017

Reverend Dr. Melvin V. Richardson, born September 4, 1943, transitioned to Heaven December 18, 2017. Consistent with his belief that all men and women share a common human ancestry since creation and thereby are all related by one blood and a common creator, which is God, he elects at this junction of his journey, to not recite numerous relatives and relationships. Save those with his beloved sons, Kenneth V. Richardson, Craig V. Richardson, and Charles K. Whiteous. Dr. Richardson was a graduate of East High School, the Ohio State University, and Georgetown University Law Center. He is a former member of the Pennsylvania and Nebraska State Bar Associations and has had an extensive and varied career as a counselor, teacher, administrator, lawyer, writer, television host, and Minister of the Gospel. He had a special place in his heart for the underprivileged and the disenfranchised and believed that his ministerial calling was to be used by God to teach His ministers and to walk as a model of righteousness among men.
