Rev. Kenneth Byrd, age 84, passed unexpectedly Thursday, August 13, 2015; he was born August 20, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio. Predeceased by his first wife, Gracie M. Cright Byrd; second wife, Jean Ellen Clark Byrd; parents, Luther and Theresa Byrd; brothers, Luther Byrd, Jr., Charles Byrd; sisters, Katherine Kidd, Margaret Byrd, and Mary Lynch. Rev. Kenneth Byrd will be deeply missed by his children, Denise (Darrell) Mayo, Anita Byrd, Clifford Butch Clark (Matrell), Debora Hollins, Lorie Cook, Jeff Clark (Laura) all of Columbus; Belinda Ward, of Harrisburg, PA, and Beth Ann Clark, of Owings Mills, MD; adopted daughter, Christel Jackson-Lee, of Burlington, NJ; `15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Yvonne Pate, Carolyn Byrd, and Richard (Cheryl) Byrd; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary J. Byrd and Nelson Lynch; and many special and dear nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
