Rhea Vanessa Coleman was born February 16, 1967 in Columbus, Ohio to the union of Joseph Henry Coleman and Betty Booker-Coleman. Rhea was a lifelong resident of Columbus where she attended church regularly. She actively and faithfully served and loved the Lord. Upon graduating from Briggg’s High School, Rhea pursued her dream and graduated Cosmetology School . Rhea became the mother of her two beautiful children, Andre and Kyla and later the grandmother to three grandchildren, Aria, Ayla and Kingston, which she adored. Before her sudden illness, Rhea wanted to be a professional cook. She loved watching cooking programs and creating her own recipes. She aspired to be the next cooking star on television. On Wednesday, August 30, 2017with her family at her side, Rhea’s spirit peacefully slipped away from her earthly body into the loving arms of Christ. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jean Coleman and her brother, Dale Demetrius Coleman. Rhea leaves to cherish her memory her father, Joseph Henry Coleman; loving children Andre Shellow and Kyla Shellow-Lawson; three grandchildren, Aria, Ayla, and Kingston Shellow-Lawson; three sisters, Faith (Robert Taylor, Mia Coleman, and Armani Coleman; one brother, Joe Coleman; and numerous nieces, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
