Robbie Mae Ferguson, age 88, born May 23, 1928 in Ashville, NC, transitioned to eternal rest on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital. Member of Love Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents Robert and Deariest Davidson, daughter Lynn James, brothers, Robert, John, and Herman Davidson, sisters, Louise Finch, Deariest Hale, Lettie Parker, and Hattie Finch, and grandson Patrick James. She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted husband of 55 years, James Ferguson; daughter Jean Saunders; sons, James Ferguson, Jr. of Los Angles, CA, and Gregory Ferguson of Pomona, NY; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister Chris Harvey of Columbus, OH; special niece Barbara Johnson Wright of Columbus; and a host of other relatives and friends.
