Robert Michael "Mike" Thomas

Robert Michael Thomas was born September 1, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio. Among Robert's family members, he was affectionately referred to as "Pops," while many of his friends and co-workers knew him best as "Mike." He was a 1960 graduate of Central High School and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy, from which he was honorably discharged in December 1966. Mike was a dedicated employee of Continental Real Estate Companies for more than thirty years. He enjoyed spending time with family, listening to jazz music, and cheering on his beloved Cleveland Browns. On March 11, 2018, at the age of 75, Robert Michael Thomas passed away while at Mt. Carmel-St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville. His parents, Jack M. Thomas and Elma Roberts Thomas, preceded him in death. He is survived by his former wife Barbara W. Thomas; four sons, Darryl Thomas (Vernita Talley), Michael (Cathy) Thomas, Aaron Thomas, and Kelly (Renee) Thomas; sisters, Kathryn Thomas McKethan and Susan Thomas Carter; grandchildren, Joi, Darryl Jr., Keyoni, Michael Jr., Marquilla, Mickeala, Shaun, Mikeal, Keoni, Aaron Jr., Troy, Ashley, Cameron, Madison, Jamaya, Aamaris, Kelli, Kimaya, Tristan and Kaylie; 27 great grandchildren; his longtime companion and special friend, Angela Graves; and a host of other relatives and friends.
