Robert Moorehead

Robert Moorehead was born to the union of Helen Cook and James Moorehead, Sr. on January 27, 1932 in Gary, West Virginia. The family later moved to Columbus, Ohio.

Robert worked at Hathway and Ferguson as a roofer for many years. Robert loved bowling and other activities.

The Lord saw fit to call Robert from labor to reward on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Mae Moorehead; daughter, Phyllis Duraina Moorehead; mother, Helen Greenway; father, James Moorehead, Sr.; step-father, Sam Greenway; brother, James "Mitch" Moorehead, Jr. and Joe L. Moorehead, Sr.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory; two daughters, Crystal Moorehead Lewis; Robin Moorehead; brother, John Greenway; six grandchildren, Tamela Moorehead of Chino, CA, Lee (Starla) Ervin, Robert "Keir" Ervin, Somer (Kevin) Baugh his devoted caregivers, Travis Lewis, DeAndra Lewis of Gilbert, AZ; eight great grandchildren, Jahlon Alexander of Chino, CA., Gabriel Ervin, Malachi Ervin, Micah Ervin, Kayden Robinson, Kaylyn Ervin, Parker Ervin, Travis Lewis, Jr. Alayah Lewis; special nieces, Roxanne Clark, Arnetta Howard; as well as a host of special family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on April 23, 2024 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am with a Funeral Service immediately following at Diehl-Whittaker Funeral Service, 1370 East Main Street Columbus, Ohio 43205. Burial will process to Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
