Robert Richberg, Sr., age 87 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 7, 2013. He was a member of Jordan Bible Church. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He had many hours of volunteer service for “Meals on Wheels” and served as the coordinator for Tuesday Bible Study Group at Jaycee Arms Apartment, where he resided. On December 3, 1949 he married Delores “Lois” Madison in Columbus, Ohio, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was mother, Almeta White Richberg; father, James Richberg; grandparents, Elmer and Gertrude White; son, Gary S. Madison, Sr.; aunts, Ruth Meyers, Henrietta Lyman and Helen Carter; grandsons, Earl Pugh, Jr. and Curtis Madison; mother-in-law, Beulah Cumberlander, father-in-law, John Madison, Sr; and sister-in-law, JoAnn Madison. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving family; daughters, Marsha Madison, of Michigan and Karen Cromer of Columbus; sons, Albert Reese of California; Robert (Youlanda) Richberg, Jr., Rodney (Maggie) Richberg, and Kenneth (Connie) Richberg of Columbus; brothers-in-law, John Madison, Jr., Charles Newton and Ron (Joyce) Newton; sisters-in-law, Mary Bivins and Beulah Robinson; 18 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
