Robert Lee Stewart, Jr. was born June 21, 1961 to Robert L. Stewart, Sr. and Jacqueline L. Rogers Stewart in Lawton, Oklahoma. He grew up in an area fondly known as The Brook and many of his loved ones and friends referred to him by the nickname Bobby Blues. Robert was a graduate of Marion-Franklin High School in Columbus, Ohio and an employee of Buca di Beppo Restaurant. He was a gifted musician and found great joy in his music. His instrument of choice was the guitar. Robert was a kind and loving person, who always kept a smile on his face, even through times of adversity. He was baptized on September 1, 2002 at Trinity Baptist Church. On Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at the age of 53, Robert passed away while at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sr., brother, Richard Tanner, grandparents, Luther and Katie Stewart, and Lola and Lou Ella Rogers, uncles, John and Luther II, and aunt Ann Stewart. He is survived by his children, Robert Lake of Columbus, Ohio, Keonia (Rogers) Thomas of Anniston, Alabama, Keisha Davis of Columbus, and Brandon and Langdon Jones, both of Temple, Georgia; mother, Jacqueline Jackie Stewart; brothers, Christopher A. (Angie) Stewart of River View, Florida, and Vincent (Jackie) Stewart; sisters, Marcialene Slate, Doris and Stephanie Stewart, all of Columbus; grandchildren, Keshawn, Alexander, Rogers Jr., Samira, Dalaya, and John; fiancee, Denise Herring (and her sons, Justice and Jaron Brown); aunts, Lula Bowman of Columbus, Velma (Louis) Armstrong of Houston, Texas, Theresa Kelley, Flora Rogers, Irma Davis, Cleotha (Louis) Alexis, and Rosemary Johnson; uncles, Cleo Rogers and Andrew Lee (Elaine) Potane, all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; great aunts, Daisey Eames of Donaldsonville, Louisiana, Willamenia Bailey of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Edna Stewart of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; great uncle, Lawrence Rogers of Compton, California; and a host of other relatives and friends.
