Robert Lee Sullivan, Jr. was born on May 22, 1950 to his parents, Robert Lee and Emma Jane Sullivan. He was affectionately called Rico, Soul and Mr. S. He spent his early years in the Windsor Terrace Community. As a youngster, he excelled in sports and was an excellent baseball player and basketball player. He graduated from Linden-McKinley High School in 1970. After graduation, he began his employment with the Wonder Bread plant, in Columbus, where he worked in the Sanitation Department. In 1973, he married Juanika Jackson and from that first marriage, he had a daughter, Katrina. In 1983, while still working at Wonder Bread, he married his current wife, Janice Wilson. He became the proud father of her two children, David and Dorothy Wilson. After 16 years, he left his employment at Wonder Bread and worked at Motorists Insurance and Steve and Barry's before retiring in 2012. Rico really enjoyed life, and if you were around him, you definitely were in for laughter. He could tell a story and he did not mind stretching it a bit. He enjoyed Browns and Buckeyes football, bowling, video poker, and Western movies. He is survived by his wife, Janice; his mother, Emma Wiggins; his daughters, Katrina and Dorothy; his son, David; 11 siblings; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, many in-laws, and many other relatives.
