Roberto Wilson

March 28, 1980 — April 21, 2024

Roberto Rodriguez Wilson Sr. was born on Friday, March 28, 1980, at Grant Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was the son of Robert E. Wilson and Teresa Wilson.


Roberto attended South High School; he played football for Driving Park Recreational Center. Roberto had many hobbies he likes to go fishing and working on cars. Roberto had his first car at the age of thirteen it was a Ford Escort, His father made him sell it. He liked creating beats on his audio system, one of his favorite artists was “50 Cent”. Roberto loved his pets, he had Frogs, Turtles, Fish, Alligators, and all sorts of reptiles. His greatest love for animals was his dogs. He created his kennel and was known for his certified breeding techniques of the American Pit Bull, People all over the United States came to buy dogs from him, or he would sometimes travel out of state to sell them. He loved to travel to new places.


Roberto was also an entrepreneur he had his breeding business and he created the “Dogg Pound Food Truck” cooking and serving delicious street food. He also had his own PodCast “Stutter Man T.V” aka the “Red Pirate”. Although Roberto had some serious health issues, he never allowed his health problems to keep him from living his life to the fullest. Roberto loved the Southside of Columbus where he grew up and had many friends.


Roberto is proceeded into death by his maternal grandparents Thomas and Mary Mathis, paternal grandfather Robert Wilson, and stepbrother Kenneth Wade Jr. Roberto is survived by his father Robert Earl Wilson (Robin), Mother Teresa (Harvey) Bussey, Paternal grandmother Gloris Ann Wilson, brother Robert Earl Wilson II, sister Jalessa Willis, children (DaShea Barnett- Martin mother of Shawnda), (LaShonda Bitting mother of Destona, Destiney, Roberto Jr., and Daviana), (Mahogany Martin mother of Ezra), grandson Roberto Rodriquez Wilson III, stepson A’Darius, stepsisters Natasha and DeeDee, stepbrothers Kevin, Da’Haan and Brandon. A host of family members and dear friends. Thank you to Juana Johnson who was a special friend and caretaker.


Roberto will be sorely missed by all.
