Robin Evelyn Edmonds, 55, left her earthly home in Reynoldsburg, Ohio on April 26, 2017 to join her parents; Adele Anderson and William James Anderson; and sister, Stephanie Joy Anderson, in heaven. She has been a resident of the Reynoldsburg/Columbus area for the past several years. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, William Dwight Edmonds of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; daughter, Adele Renee Edmonds of Alexandria, Virginia; sons, William Kenneth quot;Kenneyquot; Edmonds and Kevin James Edmonds, both of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; brother, William James quot;Andyquot; (Wendy) Anderson of Budd Lake, New Jersey; sisters, Amy Gladys (Robert) Holley of Pickerington, Ohio, and Renee Allyson Anderson of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Bobbie Edmonds Talley (David White) of South Boston, Virginia; Linda Gayle Edmonds of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Phyllis Diane Guisti of Erial, New Jersey; brother-in-law, Alis Edmonds of Danville, Virginia, and devoted lifetime friend, Robin Lampkin of New Albany, Ohio; along with a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. As a young child, Robin attended Mt. Olivet Baptist Church under the direction of Dr. Charles E. Booth III, where she was also baptized. Robin was a devout Christian. During her adult years, Robin attended, along with her family, World Harvest Church under the direction of Pastor Rod Parsley. Robin graduated from Eastmoor Academy in 1980. She then attended Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia and The Ohio State University. In addition to Reynoldsburg/Columbus, Ohio, Robin and her family have also lived in Raleigh, North Carolina; Birmingham, Alabama; Richmond, Virginia; and Massillon, Ohio. Robin spent the majority of her life caring, loving, and supporting her husband and children. Later on in her life, Robin worked in the Reynoldsburg School District as a substitute office aide, “bringing joy and spreading sunshine.” Robin was a proud Reynoldsburg Raider and was both passionate and very involved with the band, which both her sons played in. Robin was an extraordinary cook, baker, enjoyed traveling, watching Korean dramas, and living life. Robin was the epitome of a loving mother and wife who focused on always doing what was best for her children and husband. She was a trusted friend to all that knew her, and a devoted wife and mother. She was the backbone of her family, put others before herself, and loved to see those around her smile. Robin loved the Lord, God, her family, friends and the Buckeyes. Robin was the hug you needed when you were down, the baker that created the best desserts for holidays, the name you called to kill the spider in your room, the person you could depend on to be in the stands at the football games, the giver that was compassionate to everyone she met and the wife that loved her husband in a way that makes you think fairy tales do come true. She was honest, genuine, always could be seen with a smile, frequently danced and sang for fun, loved going to church, and had a heart of gold. Robin loved Jesus, and now she is with Him. Robin has permanently left a mark on every soul that she touched, and will be forever loved, missed, remembered, and appreciated. To celebrate the life of Robin, we would like everyone to wear purple and white. The family is very grateful to those who have supported us during this difficult time. The Edmonds family is extremely appreciative and blessed by the outpouring of support they have received so far through an abundance of meal contributions and various other thoughtful memorial gifts. For those who still desire to assist the family and express your love and admiration for a dear loved one and friend, please consider a monetary contribution to the Reynoldsburg Band Boosters in memory of Robin E.
