Rodney Earl 'Petee' Jones

Rodney Earl Jones was born April 17, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio. He was the 3rd child born to James and Mary Jones. He took his flight on July 8, 2016. Rodney was a native of Columbus Ohio, product of Columbus Public Schools. He was employed by Pressware for 11yrs and later retired. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, listening to Soulful Sultry Jazz. He loved spending time with the grandkids and gave them all nicknames. Rodney’s personality was infectious and he drew people to him like a magnet. He was a sharp dresser, known for always wearing a hat. Sissy says; I do I do Rodney is preceded in death by his father James Jones Sr. and mother Mary Jones. He leaves to celebrate his home going and cherish his memory, wife Terri Jones of 28 years and children: Cassie, Nicole (James) Lewis, Rodney, Selina, Rashawn (Raquel), Rashad (Deandrea) Jones, Guy, Larry, Shantina (Sidney) Byrd. Sister, Gwendolyn (William) Scales, Brothers: James, William, Harold, Melvin, Karl (Cheryl) Jones. 19 Grand Children, 16 Great Grand Children and a Host of Relatives: Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, In- Laws Friends. Special Friend, Vance Smith.
