Ronald Green Sr

Ronald Green Sr., 72, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Saturday November 17, 2012. He was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late James Wilford and Anna Story-Green. Ronald Green graduated from West High School. He was married to Stella Green. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his girlfriend Cheryl Oliver, his sisters Gloria Cheatem, Betty Rose, Nellie Belle, Big Sis, and his brothers James Green, Jesse Green, Robert Wilford, Clyde Wilford, and Darnell Wilford. Ronald Green was a beloved father and grandfather. He retired from working as a grinder at Ohio Malbiu to run his own independent business which fulfilled his entrepreneurial spirit. Ronald Green was an Ohio peace officer for the Adam 5 Investigation and board member of the Home Buyer's Association. He was a devoted football coach for the Cowboys of Columbus and the Southeast Raiders. During his life he won many awards for various bowling tournaments. His hobbies were sports, football, basketball, bowling, fishing and his CB handle was Ram Rod. His favorite colors were burgundy and gray. His favorite music artists were MC Hammer, Kool Moe Dee, The Temptations, 2Pac, Digital Underground, Earth Wind Fire, James Brown, the O'Jays and many more. He is survived by brothers, Richard and Billy Green; his sister, Mabel Anderson and by his 15 children: Rhonda Dalton, Terry and Sherry Horton (twins), Tracy Green, Sheryl Green, Mira Green, Eric Green, Anna Green (married to Dellano Allen), Kalma Stirtmiere (married to JR Stirtmiere), Ronald Green Jr. (married to Tina Green), Veronica Robinson, Kelly Curry (married to Milton Curry), Ronald Robinson (Ashley Fuller), Foster Green, and Angela Newell (married to Marcus Newell). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jaymell, Tyrone, Jerone, Jerrald, Jasmyne, Jozalynn, and 19 more grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
