Ronald Hardnet

Ronald Hardnet, 71, of Columbus, Ohio, went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 17, 2024. His contagious laughter, love for music, and words of encouragement will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Born on April 25, 1953, to Luewill Walker and Booker T. Hardnet in Columbus, Ohio, Ronald cherished his time with siblings and cousins. He was an enthusiastic participant in sports, particularly football, throughout his younger years before proudly serving in the military, where he was honorably discharged with medals of valor.

Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Luewill Smith, father, Booker T. Hardnet, and son, Ronald Tyrone Hardnet Jr. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 38 years, Yvette Hardnet, along with his cherished children: Rhonda Wright (Willie Lipsey), Shane Wright (Anna Wright), Toya Wiley (Kevin Wiley), Ramon Mugrage, James Mugrage, Alexis Rivers, Michael Rivers, Roy Lee Rivers, III, Tonya Rivers, Melissa Dawson, and Diana Porter. Ronald is also survived by his siblings: Jimmie Winkfield (Ann Winkfield), Robert Winkfield (Jackie Winkfield), Donald Hardnet (Carmen Hardnet), and Anita Williams (Richard Williams).

He will be deeply missed by a large family of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives. Ronald's spirit and warmth will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
