Roosevelt "Randy" Cobb, age 60, was born on February 8, 1958 to the late Roosevelt and Betty Brown in St. Louis, MO. Roosevelt was one of nine children. Roosevelt later moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1978 where he resided until he received his heavenly wings on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. Roosevelt received Christ at an early age. Roosevelt started his early education in St. Louis and later received his GED in Detroit, MI in 1976. Roosevelt enlisted in the US Army shortly after receiving his GED. Roosevelt served in the US Army and was released with Honorable Discharge. Roosevelt started working for the State of Ohio in 1979 until 1987. In 1987 Roosevelt began driving for COTA where he drove the buses for over 23 years. He retired from COTA in 2010. After retiring from COTA, Roosevelt started driving for Ohio State University (CABS) where he transported sports teams, alumni’s, and many other different organizations. Roosevelt loved his family and friends and he never met a stranger. Roosevelt was loved by all he encountered in his life. Roosevelt was a die-hard MICHIGAN fan! Noble Roosevelt “Randy” Cobb 32* was a free Mason for over 20 years. Roosevelt was a beloved, respected and very active member. He was raised in International Free and Accepted Mason (IF & AM) Columbus, Ohio. In 2003, he moved to Free and Accepted Ancient York Masons, Prince Hall Origin, National Compact, USA. Roosevelt was a member of Successful Lodge #17, Keystone Chapter #3 Royal Arch. He was the Past Eminent Commander of Prince Hall #1 Commandry. He was the current Commander in Chief of Franklin Consistory #1. In 2014, Roosevelt joined Triumph Temple #1, Ancient Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine. Roosevelt is preceded in death by his parents, Roosevelt and Betty Brown; two sisters, Tracey and Velvest; one brother, Cornell; two aunts, Carolyn and Willa; one uncle, Robert; and his son, Braden. Roosevelt is survived by his loving wife, Toya Cobb; five (5)children, Christopher, Ronald, Tahlea, Deidre, and Joseph; goddaughter, Mona Milner-Bolding; two (2) brothers, Glenn(Lori) and Jerry(Lori); three (3) sisters, Belinda(Korneluis), Donna and Nikki; three (3) sister-in-laws, Shirley, Yvette and Laurie; nine (9) grandchildren, three (3) great grandchildren, and a large host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
