Rosa Jordan

ROSA LAVINNA JORDAN was born in Columbus, Ohio, on Tuesday, September 6, 1949. She was the daughter of Jimmie Moreland and Leila Moreland. She received her formal education from Columbus City Schools and was a proud graduate of East High School. Rosa believed in and loved the Lord. She was a retiree of Honda of America, where she served as an inspector.

In her leisure time, Rosa loved to listen to music, go shopping, and enjoyed fine dining. She also enjoyed traveling. Her vacation to Aruba and trips to Las Vegas, Nevada were most memorable.

Blessed with seventy-four years of life, our beloved Rosa L. Jordan entered eternal rest on her birthday, Wednesday, September 6, 2023. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Craig E. Moreland Hudson.

Loving memories are cherished by her daughter, Sharnetta Wilson; son, John Wilson III; grandchildren, Brooklyn Broomfield and Oluafemi Imafidon; sisters, Patricia Moreland Byrd, Martha Moreland Spike Harriston, and Mary Moreland Brown; brothers, Jimmie Moreland, Craig E. (Isabella Knight) Moreland, and Trummie Moreland; special friends, Christelle Beta, Oliva Taylor, Deborah Hudson, Connie Coleman, John Lee Wilson, Sr., David, Slyvia Gibbs, Barbara Wade, Genia Biggs, Janice Blake, Jimmy Wilson, and Amssia Waitts; a host of other family members and dear friends.
