Rosalie Goins

ROSALIE BERNICE GOINS was born in Urbana, Ohio, on Tuesday, September 21, 1948. She was the daughter of John and Vera Ladd Stanhope. Blessed with seventy-four years of life, our beloved Rosalie passed away Friday, December 16, 2022. In addition to her parents, Rosalie was preceded in death by her brother, Van Stanhope; grandson, Rodney Goins; and nephews, Kevin Jefferson (Stanhope) and John L. Goins.

Rosalie is survived by her husband, John Goins; their children, Lisa Marie (Dearik) Jackson, Heather Renée Goins, John Elijah Goins, and Matthew Ivan (Kynece) Goins; sisters, Jacqualine, Sally, and Amy. She was blessed with grandchildren, great grandchildren, plus many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and dear friends.

Rosalie will be remembered for her personality, smile, and glimmer of her eyes. She worked as a community outreach worker and was very active in her community, helping families find resources. Rosalie touched and changed many lives.
