Rose Ann (Hill) Brown

Rose A. (Hill) Brown, 94, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 10, 2016. She was an active member of Oakley Full Gospel Baptist church. Rose retired from The Ohio State University. God gifted her with many talents which she used to His glory. She played the piano at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church every fourth Sunday, until her recent illness. She also played for other churches and organizations over the years. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Brown; son-in-law, John A. Dooley, Sr.; parents and siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara J. Dooley; 4 grandchildren, Casey (Dr. L.A.) Gatewood, Gina (Ray) King; Pamela Zebbs, John (Heidi) Dooley, Jr.; 9 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, god-children and close friends. Her kind and gentle spirit will always be remembered. As Proverbs 31: 10a;30 says “Who can find a virtuous woman?...Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.”
