Roxie Ann (Cumberlander) Williams

Roxie A. (Cumberlander) Williams, age 52, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, after a 14-year courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born March 19, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio, to Earnest and Clara O. (Featherstone) Cumberlander. She was a 1977 graduate of East High School, and a life-time member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where served as an Usher and member of the Church School. She was employed at the Ohio Academy School of Cosmetology as an Administrator, and was previously employed at ATT Lucent Technology. Preceded in death by her mother, she leaves to cherish her memory, son Walter (LaVeisha) Williams of Solon, OH; father Earnest (Glaydell) Cumberlander; brothers, Jerome (Vikki) Cumberlander, Anthony (Kathy) Cumberlander, both of Columbus, OH, and Orlando (NeCole) Cumberlander of Solon, OH; sisters Antoinette Miller of West Point, GA, and Angela (Jerry) Cumberlander-Lapsley of Columbus, OH; grandchildren Kyla and Javon Williams; special friend Dorothea Hives; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Celebration of Life service 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 2188 Woodward Avenue, where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the start of service. Rev.
