She departed this life on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. Roxie was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, Columbus, Ohio. Roxie was educated in the public schools of Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana and continued her education in Columbus, Ohio at Franklin University. She received a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration from Capital University. Also, she received a diploma in office automation from M.A.T.A. College of Automation. Her husband George Philmore; son, Mark Philmore Sr.; parents, Leslie Jerome Mabry, Sr., Irene Edwards Mabry; grandparents, Tommie Edwards, Verna Edwards, Karrie Catchings, Leslie Mabry, Tobe Catchings; sisters, Annie T. Mabry (Shirley), Independence, LA, Leslie M. Mabry, Jr., Amite, LA, Willie E. Mabry, Monroe, LA, Eddie J.
