Roy Lee Green

August 14, 1940 — April 11, 2020

Roy Lee Green, 79, was born August 14, 1940, and on April 11, 2020, God delivered him from all evil. Roy was a retired foundry worker from the Ohio Malleable Iron Company. For a number of years, he was also a baker for Krispy Kreme Donuts, and he owned and operated a cleaning company with his family. Roy was a minister and a longtime member of Eliezer Church of Christ, where he also served as a deacon, nurse, and Sunday School teacher. Roy is known for his love of family, fishing, cars, hats and watches. He is best known for his love of God and being about our Father's business. He always had an encouraging word for all he met. He could and would talk to anyone and everyone about God and how God healed is body and reunited him back with his wife. If you needed a ride anywhere to run errands, he was your driver. His favorite song was You Can't Make Me Doubt Him. Roy is preceded in death by his father, Early Green; mother, Caroline Redd; wife, Betty M. Green; sister, Mabel Wesley; brothers, Early Green, Jr., David Green and Harold Green; and nephew, Robert Wesley. Left to cherish his memories are sons, Roy F. (Elizabeth) Green, Robert L. (Virginia) Green, and Clarence F. (Bernadette) Green; daughter, Jean E. Green; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
