Rufus Hairston Jr

Rufus Hairston, Jr., age 76, departed this life September 25, 2015. A 1957 graduate of East High School, Rufus worked for Lenox Industries for 27 years and was an ordained Deacon at the Holy Ghost Revival Center Church of Christ. Predeceased by parents, Rufus and Mary Hairston, and sister Mary Ruth Robinson. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 54 years, Betty J. Hairston; daughters, Vickie Spivey, Sherry (James) Ogden, and Brenda (Kenneth) Mack; sons, Terry (Kim) Hairston, Kerry (Dawn) Hairston, and Paul Hairston; sister Alberta Hunt; 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
