Ruth E. Allen

May 16, 1930 — November 17, 2021

Ruth Elizebeth (Bane) Allen was born on May 16, 1930 in Bluefield, West Virginia to Wade and Virginia (Perry) Bane. She was an extraordinary, God fearing woman who gained her angel wings on November 17, 2021, in Columbus, Ohio after a four year long battle with Alzheimer's disease, which didn't stop her charismatic, loving and feisty personality. Ruth was an active member of her church, Everlasting Baptist Church, where she was the mother of the the church. She loved to sing in her churches choir. Ruth also enjoyed playing the piano, bowling, and family time. She loved to find any reason to host a family function, which allowed her to host her home and cook up a big meal. Ruth Elizabeth Bane "Tiny" as she was affectionately called by her husband, William Allen Jr. (Bill), whom she shared many loving years together. Their marriage was a testament to their vows, together forever, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, until only death could part them. They had an extraordinary life where they lived in Cleveland, Ohio, but loved to travel very much. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Allen Jr. parents Wade and Virginia (Perry) Bane, brothers Archie, Juss, Sydney, Virgil and Lee Bane. She will be greatly missed as she was a great God fearing wife, aunt, and sister. Ruth is survived by her niece, Gloria Bane-Sams, nephew, Sydney Jr, Barry Bane and a host of great and great great nieces and nephews.
