Sadie May 'Bootsie' (Beard) Mendenhall

Sadie May (Beard) Mendenhall was born September 5, 1948 in Oberlin, Ohio. She loved traveling, communicating with others, and spending time with family and friends. Sadie recently retired from OhioHealth in November 2013. On Monday, December 30, 2013, Sadie departed this earthly life while at The Ohio State University Medical Center East in Columbus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents Sadie M. Beard and Harvell Beard, sisters Katherine Shores, Sylvia Coston, and Doris Thomas, and brother Melvin Caldwell. She leaves to cherish her memory loving husband, Michael A. Mendenhall; sons, Christopher and Adam Mendenhall; stepdaughters, Shelly, Kelly, and Sammy Mendenhall; sisters, Marvell (Kenneth) Yancey and Shirley (Kenneth) Payne; very dear friend, Adrienne Dacons; and a host of other relatives and friends.
