Sandy Noble Jr

Sandy G. Noble Jr., was called to his Heavenly Home on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 surrounded by loving family. Sandy was born September 29, 1928 to Sandy Sr. and Hattie Murphy Noble in Augusta, GA. In 1947, he enlisted in the U.S., Army and received a World War II Victory Medal, marksman badge with rifle bar. Sandy is preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, John, Robert, Eugene and James and 2 sisters, Carrie Anderson and Gloria McIntosh. Survivors included his wife of 43 years, Mary; son, Sandy R.; daughters, Pamela (Craig) Elder and Melissa Noble; grandson, Stanley Fleming III; granddaughters, Bria and Tia Elder; great granddaughter, Jatavia Smith-Fleming; 3 brothers, Dr. Charles (Nora) Noble of Newark, Rev. Herman (Roseann) Noble of Columbus and Willard Noble of Augusta, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Celebration of Life 10am Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 2188 Woodward Avenue, where the family will receive friends from 9am until the start of services.
