Sarah “Billie” was born February 28, 1936 in Columbus, Ohio. She went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on July 11, 2016. Sarah was a graduate of Columbus East High School. Retired Columbus City School Bus Driver. Preceded in death by her parents Abdul and Mary Rahaman, sister Nadjah, granddaughters Shaneka and Bria, former spouse Clarence. Survived by her children Vallory (Mitsy), Clarence (Anita), Tina, Jeff, Pam and Ramona (Chuck), 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild. Host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She loved all of her students at the various schools she drove for but Northland High School activity students were her favorite of all time. After retiring she became an avid reader, loved her soap operas (everyone knew not to call her during her soap operas). She loved sci-fi and action films too, The Fast Furious series or should I say Vin Diesel were her favorite. But nothing trumped spending time with her family. She loved her children and grand-children but REALLY LOVED those great-grands. Some of her favorite pastimes was hosting big family gatherings, she was the Queen of party planning. However, for her 80th birthday we managed to plan the surprise party of a lifetime. She was so shocked but she still insisted we have the party she planned for herself the next day and so she had not one but two 80th birthday parties. As you can see even as her health failed her feisty personality and fighting spirit remained intact. Sarah was a remarkable woman and will be sorely missed by all.
