Saundra Jeanne (Hutchins) Bryant

Saundra Jeanne Hutchins Bryant was born July 23, 1950, to Jeanne White Hutchins and Grady Lee Hutchins, in Detroit, Michigan. She attended Detroit Public Schools, and earned a certification in cosmetology. Saundra later studied Criminal Law at Wayne Community College. In 1967, she married Leon L. Weatherspoon, and from this union four children were born: Jeane, Sandy, Leon Jr., and Wendy. On December 18, 1995, Leon Sr. passed away. Later, Saundra met and fell in love with Howard Bryant; they were married in 1998. Thus, their respective children, eight in all, were united as one family. Saundra departed this earthly life on Friday, April 11, 2014, while at her residence in Columbus, Ohio. Her father and sister, Patricia Stanley, preceded her in death. Those who remain to cherish precious memories of Saundra include her loving and dedicated husband, Howard Bryant, Sr.; children, Jeane Woods of Las Vegas, Nevada, Sandy Moorehead of Rockford, Illinois, Leon Weatherspoon, Jr. of Detroit Michigan, Wendy Cummings of Detroit, Michigan, Howard Jr., Steven, Chanel, and Whitney; mother, Jeanne Schuldt; sister, Leah Proctor; brother, Shawn Schuldt; her beautiful and loving grandchildren and great grandchildren that adored her and will miss her dearly; and a host of loving and caring nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will mourn her loving memory of laughs and smiles.
