Sheila Althea Waters

Sheila A Waters, age 73 of Columbus, OH passed away on July 9, 2022. She was born on March 12, 1949 in Lynchburg, VA to the late Eugene Crews and Bertha Marshall. She attended Dunbar High School Class of 1967. She found her true love in Columbus, OH where she was united in Holy Matrimony to Harry Waters Jr. for 47 years She retired from JCPenney Columbus Logistics Center after 37 years of service. She was a hard worker and one of the kindest people you would have ever met unless she didn’t like you then watch out here comes that frown. Sheila was involved in various organizations, she loved bowling, dancing, and music. Sheila Waters was a member of VFW Auxiliary 3764, is she held many positions including President, Senior Vice, Junior Vice, Treasurer, Secretary, and Conductors and Many Chairmanships...Sheila even did a Cookbook that was sold out across Ohio. Sheila was Loved and Adored By the Auxiliary, Post, District 11 and the Department of Ohio and will be Missed Dearly . In addition to her parents she is predeceased in death by Mother in law Bertha Waters, Brother and Sister in law Brenda & Ben Waters. Favorite cousins Eva, John, an Minnie Adamson She is survived her Husband Harry Waters Jr, Sister In Laws Angela Waters Wheeler, Connie (Bobby) Hook, and Gwen Waters, her children Tammy Hunter, Lisa Harris, and Sanika Waters. Granddaughters Darriel Hunter, Melasia Hodge, Maliyah Peterson, Melvin-Nea Hodge, Grandsons Dronte Lewis and Malik Peterson. Great Grandson Drixton Lewis Special Friends Cora Johnson and Dorothy Green And a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends
