Shirley Mae 'Shirl Mae' Minnifield

Shirley Mae Minnifield was born December 7, 1985 in Columbus, Ohio, where she attended Linmoor Middle School and South High School. Shirley entered into motherhood at an early age. She was a wonderful parent to her children and always found joy in helping others. Her family and friends were very important to her and she especially enjoyed spending time with them during holidays and special gatherings. Affectionately known as Shirl Mae, she was an entrepreneur who loved shopping and styling hair. On November 23, 2015, at the age of 29, Shirley departed this life while at Grant Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Janice Durr, Shirley Minnifield, and James Talley, and uncle Jimmy Minnifield. Left to cherish memories of Shirley are her children, Tranez Minnifield, Vontajia Williams, Vonzell Williams, Travante Williams, and Josh'Lynn Price; parents, Shirley and Genvous Rogers; sisters, Marquita Coates and Latoya Minnifield; brothers, Daniel Minnifield, Terrell MInnifield, and Eugene Rogers; special friends, Joshua Price and Orpheus Mr. O dearest friends, Tiauna Castro, Tonya Jackson, Leslie Council, Keista Wellington, and Brittany Simpson; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
