Simon Lester Williams

Simon "Sinny" Williams passed over on November 25, 2017. He was born June 6, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio. He was the baby boy in a family of seven children. Sinny was a gentle soul that loved life. His signature laugh was infectious. He was a graduate of Columbus Central High School where he was a basketball standout under the legendary Coach Al Bowen. He attended Wilmington College and was a former State of Ohio employee. Simon loved fishing and hunting. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack A. Williams, Sr. and Roberta G. Williams. Sinny leaves to cherish his loving memory, daughters, DeAnn Williams and Ashle' Poole; grandchildren, DeShay, Daurice, and Zayaria; siblings, Jack A. Williams, Jr. (Cheri), Helen Hagans-Powell (Larry), Cecilia Winkfield, Doug Williams, Stephanie Williams-Turner, and Sonya Williams; aunt Madeline Walker; uncle Rudolph Stewart; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends including special friends, Lois Williams and Lavita Moreland.
