Stanley Jerome Whitner Jr. “June”, was born on March 29, 1979 to Stanley J. Whitner Sr. & Martha R. Whitner- Johnson in Battle Creek, Michigan. At an early age Stan was ntroduced to the love of Jesus while attending Greater Ebenezer Cathedral of Praise. It was here where seeds of faith and a love of music was established. He was an alum of Briggs High School in Columbus OH as well as Job Corp in Dayton OH. Years later he met his soon to be wife and fell in love. Determined to lead his family in serving the Lord, God directed Stan to come to Faith Mission United Holy Church in 2006. Seeds planted long ago fell on good ground and within Faith Mission United Holy Church those seeds beared fruit. God started showing his signs and wonders within Stan’s life through deliverance and healing. Recognizing God’s grace & mercy he married his girlfriend of 8 years and God blessed them with 9 more beautiful years together. Working for Share transportation Stan actively shared the Gospel with others sowing his own seeds. Stan enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Writing music lyrics and poetry, listening to a variety of Gospel Music as well as the iconic Stevie Wonder. He was, is, and will always be a bleed Scarlet & Gray, Big 10 Buckeye Fan for The Ohio State University. O-H...I-O At the tender age of 40 Stan was called home to be with the Lord on December 16, 2019 he was a faithful member of Faith Mission United Holy Church. He was predeceased by parents; Stanley J. Whitner Sr. and Martha R. Whitner-Johnson; grandparents, Joe and Ula Kemp and Robert & Margaret Whitner; uncles, Wallace Kemp and John Henry Kemp; aunt, Sara E. Holloway. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Casady Jackson- Whitner; sons, Christon Moss-Jackson and De’vante Jackson; and daughter, September Jackson; grandchildren, Noah & Ahmir Moss- Jackson; siblings, Annie, Amelia, Celeste(Jeff), Chante(Lance), Lateicha, Nekita, Amanda, Schauntarah, Tanika, Caradine, Isaac, Daniel, and Bryan; 3 god daughters; 1 god son; aunts, uncles, father and mother in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other family members and friends.
