Stanley Merrill Greene

Our beloved father and grandfather, Stanley Merrill Greene, went home to the Lord on May 1, 2018. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Stanley graduated from East High School and Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD). His love of life, people and nature was displayed in his artwork. He was a member of St. Philip Episcopal Church where he served in many capacities. Stanley served his country as a radio operator in the United State Air Force. After his retirement from DCSC (now DSCC), he served in the Ohio Military Reserve where he earned the rank of Colonel and received is an honorary member of the Tuskegee Airman. He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Lee Greene and Grace Greene, son David Greene, and brother Charles Greene. Stanley is survived by his daughter Angela; son William; sister Phyllis Waugh; grandchildren, Jessica Stewart and Shadoe Royster; niece Cathy Nelson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
