Steven "Wolf" Woodford

Steven “Wolf” Blair Woodford was a funny, charismatic, and vivacious brother, father, son, cousin, and friend. He went home to be with the Lord on June 6, 2023, at age 61, after a nine-month struggle with kidney failure caused by amyloidosis.

Stevie was born on June 10, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from South High School and attended Franklin University. He previously worked at Battelle Memorial Institute.

Stevie gave his life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at Pilgrim Baptist Church, where he was a member for decades. Despite his failing health over the past year, Stevie was happy and at peace with the Lord.

Stevie loved watching football, especially his favorite team, the Cleveland Browns. He also enjoyed cooking, collecting “old school” cars, watching Sunday Morning, This Morning with Gayle King, and taking daily walks with his beloved dog KiKi, at the Wildwood Preserve Metro Park in Toledo, Ohio. He took pride in his appearance and had an appreciation for clothing with his dapper style of dress.

Left to miss and mourn his loss are daughter Kristen Ford (Chris), Sisters; Debbie (Fred) Turner, Lisa (Charles) Gilton, Tracy Woodford, Danita Cornute, Karen Bass; Brother; Paul Curtis, special companion, love, and friend; Cecily Johnson, aunts, uncles, cousins. Close friends,

Alon Bellus, Tony Williams and his close Toledo neighbors Jackie Jackson, Dr. Victor Perry, Scotty, Tommy and Mr. Steve.

Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Willa Mae Brown, his fathers, Melvin Brown and Paul Bass, and his brother Kevin Bass.
