Sybil Dianna Johnson-Hudson

Sybil Johnson-Hudson, age 78, was born in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Mary Lee Owensby and Charles Clifford Johnson. She graduated from East High School and furthered her education at Ohio Dominican University. Sybil retired from The Ohio Youth Commission as a juvenile corrections officer in 1999. She lived her life traveling, enjoying the finer things in life, and being kind to others. She was a keen dog-lover and an avid collector of African art. In addition to her parents, Sybil was preceded in death by her husband Dwaine Maurice Hudson, and her aunts, Lola, Sally and Eva. Memories of Sybil will be cherished by her daughter Tracey (Diane), her cousins, and a host of close, childhood friends, Alice, Brenda, Eleanor, Fredericia, Gloria, Maxine and Nancy. She will be missed sadly by her family, friends, fellow club members and all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. In lieu of flowers, Sybil's family humbly requests that friends and loved ones send memorial donations to any or all of her favorite organizations (see links below).
