Mr. Talton Williams of Cleveland, Ohio left his earthly home to join the Lord in his heavenly home on September 26, 2024.
Mr. Williams entered this world on June 16, 1945 to the union of the late Lonzie and Annie Williams.
He grew up in Atlanta, GA and was the fourth eldest among nine children. Mr. Williams accepted Christ at an early age. He went to Bruce Street High School and he worked for Dominion East Ohio Gas Company for 22 years before he retired in June 2000.
Mr. Talton Williams met the love of his life, Christine Holton and they stayed married for 43 years. He loved his family, fishing, cook-outs, and growing his own vegetables.
Preceeding him into eternity are his parents; brothers, Bobby, Charles; sisters, Shirley, Mary and niece, Lisa.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Christine; son, Stanley; brothers, Lonzie Jr., Johnny; sister, Peggy; Mr. Anthony (Peggy) Everhardt; sisters-in-law, Carol, Janice, Gloria, Belinda; brother-in-law, Tony Marble; as well as, a host of nieces and nephews, Momma Andy Pharrah, Eric Lamont Michell.
2 Timothy 4:7-8 says, I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am with a Funeral Service immediately following at Diehl Whittaker Funeral Service,
1370 East Main Street Columbus, Ohio 43205. Burial will process to Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
