Thelma Jordan, 94, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at The OSU Wexner Medical Center. She was born in Tuskegee (Macon County), Alabama on June 23, 1923. She was a member of The Calvary Tremont Missionary Baptist Church for many years. She was a resident of the Laurels of Norworth, in Worthington, Ohio, where she enjoyed different activities, including playing dominoes and sharing stories about her childhood in Tuskegee and her life as a young adult in Connecticut. Thelma is preceded in death by parents, Levi and Carrie Slaughter Ezell, husband Earl Jordan, daughter Earlene Rutherford, sisters, Annie Pearl Pollard, Minnie Reed, Willietta Green, Louester Stroud, and Lois Tatum, and brothers Levi Ezell, Dennis Ezell, and Rufus Ezell. She leaves to cherish her memory, children Crystal (Ronald) McIntyre and Irene Jordan; sisters Elizabeth Walker and Mable Stroud; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends, including special friend Jennifer Wolfe. The Jordan-McIntyre family would like to give special thanks to various staff within the OSU medical network, the former Rehabilitation & Health Center of Gahanna, The Laurels of Norworth and Comfort Keepers.
