Theodore Roosevelt Hollingsworth, Jr.

Theodore (Ted) Hollingsworth, Jr., age 84, was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 3, l936 to the late Theodore Hollingsworth, Sr. and Ella Mae (Hollingsworth) Hilton. Ted departed this life on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Paramount Senior Living, Westerville, OH. He graduated from East High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree from George Washington University. Ted served in the United States Air Force. He was employed with Boeing and then Greyhound Bus Lines; retiring after 28 years. Ted was proud to have driven, especially across country on special trips with groups; and never had an accident. Preceded in death by father, Theodore Hollingsworth, Sr., mother, Ella Mae Hilton, brothers, William Hilton, Leroy Hilton and sister, Peggy Smith. He leaves to cherish his memories, wife; Marilyn Hollingsworth, son; Theodore (Teddy) Hollingsworth, step-daughter; Dina Edmonds, brothers; Phil Hollingsworth, Robert (Barbara) Hilton, and Danny (Jackie) Hilton, sisters; Patricia (Raymond) Steele, and Mary (Donald) Duncan, granddaughter; Leatrice Smiley, step-granddaughter; Ivanna Munoz; step-grandson; Justin Munoz, great-granddaughter; Zaniyah Smiley; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. “God knew that you were tired and the hills were hard to climb.
